How do you fancy a Hebridean Honeymoon?

Over the years, I must have given away a dozen copies of Pete Irvine’s book, Scotland the Best. “It’s the guidebook the Scots use”, as The Sunday Times review said, which is no less than the truth, and whenever Mrs M and I set off on our travels, we make sure to bring a copy of the latest edition.

Last night at Summerhall, Pete launched his new edition which is filled with spectacular photography of the islands, and it gave me an idea.

I bought an extra copy so I could give it away to the couple whose honeymoon plans inspire me the most.

The rules are pretty simple. If you want a copy, tell me where you want to go in the Scottish Islands, and what you hope to do when get there.

To enter, please go to my contact page and send me an email before Sunday 29th of May, which is the cut off date for entries. I look forward to hearing your plans!

PS Thanks to Richard Cross, whose photo I’ve borrowed for the main picture on this story. He’s on the right in the photo above, along with another contributor, Mhairi Law and the man himself.
