What does a humanist wedding cost?

My fee since 2020 has been £550.00, and it will remain the same in 2026.

If you want a full rehearsal, which isn’t essential but which I generally recommend for reasons you can see here, you should allow a further £150.00. 

Humankind stand for the values that underpin democracy; freedom of belief, freedom of expression, the rule of law, and universal human rights.  These beliefs are at the heart of all we do.  

Are there other costs?

One of the good things about a Humankind wedding is that you don’t have to pay to join our organisation; membership is both optional and free. 

The Registrar will make additional charges for your paperwork, but that is the case for all religious and belief marriages, and you can find out more about that here.
